Six questions to ask any AI vendor before signing

Ask what happens to your data, where it is stored, and whether it is used to train models. Ask what you get back if you leave. Ask who is accountable when the automation gets something wrong.

Then ask the commercial questions: what drives the price up, what the minimum commitment is, and what happens if the promised value does not appear after three months.

A good partner answers all six in plain language and puts the answers in writing. If the answers only arrive as a demo, that is your answer.
